How it works
- You place your order. On the checkout page, select “Cash on delivery” and Speedy delivery within Bulgaria — no advance payment required.
- You pay the courier. You pay the amount in cash when you receive the parcel.
- You receive a receipt. The courier gives you a receipt for a postal money transfer. It serves in place of a till receipt.
Why there is no receipt
Speedy is a licensed postal operator for postal money transfers. AZIMUTH 6000 EOOD has a contract under which cash-on-delivery amounts are transferred to its bank account. In this case, the law does not require a till receipt — its role is taken by the receipt issued by the courier. With Econt delivery it is different: there, the courier issues a till receipt on our behalf (till receipt).
Ordinance No. H-18 of the Ministry of Finance obliges traders to issue a till receipt for every sale — except where payment is made as a postal money transfer through a licensed postal operator.
For businesses and accountants
- Attach the receipt to the invoice — it is the document proving payment.
- Record the invoice as paid in cash on the basis of the receipt.
- Do not expect a till receipt — none is issued for this purchase.
- An invoice is requested at checkout by ticking “I would like an invoice” — with company name, UIC, address and responsible person.
