The treatment is a complex of several sub-procedures and is carried out in several stages, using different products. The stages can also be applied separately, but only completing all of them in the correct order delivers maximum results.
Preparatory stage.
To help the anti-cellulite gel and cream penetrate better, a dry scrub is performed before the treatment, using grated coconut shavings or an exfoliating glove/mitt in the coarsest grade. The aim is to remove the dead skin from the areas being treated so that the active ingredients can penetrate the skin more easily during the following stages of the anti-cellulite treatment.
Stage 1. Anti-cellulite massage with warming anti-cellulite gel by Le’Spa.
Rub the gel into the problem areas for 10–15 minutes. The gel contains an active ingredient derived from the Brazilian pepper tree, which produces the warming effect on the areas being massaged. It stimulates blood flow to these areas, warms the fatty deposits and releases the fluid from them. During the massage the skin turns red, and this redness disappears after 10 minutes. Caution! The gel must not be used where there are varicose veins on the areas being treated. In such cases, an anti-cellulite oil without a warming effect should be used instead of the gel.
Stage 2. Anti-cellulite massage with a blend of anti-cellulite cream and anti-cellulite gel.
Mix equal amounts of gel and cream and massage in for 10–15 minutes. The anti-cellulite cream has a draining action, which helps its active ingredients — as well as those of the anti-cellulite gel — penetrate more deeply.
Stage 3. Anti-cellulite massage with anti-cellulite cream.
Rub the cream in with a massage for around 10–15 minutes.
Stage 4. Once the anti-cellulite massage is complete — it lasts 40 – 45 minutes in total — and the subcutaneous fat deposits and other adipose accumulations have been broken down, fluid (fatty compounds) is released, which then needs to be drawn out transdermally (through the skin). This is done with the firming body mask, a complex of French dental plaster and several types of silicones. The mask is applied from edge to edge by hand or with a brush. The plaster is first mixed with water until it forms a paste. After the mask has been applied, it is left to dry and the area is then wrapped in film.
