About the product
With a grape fragrance.
The lye massage oil is used for joint and muscle pain, stiffness, arthritis, arthrosis, neuritis, inflammation of the periarticular tissues, sprains, dislocated joints, fractures, neuralgia, plexitis, discopathy and more. It is also effective in treating haemorrhoids. Used regularly, it restores the body’s magnesium levels. Suitable both for home treatments and for professional rehabilitation, recovery, SPA & Wellness centres.
Its high magnesium content makes this product indispensable for anyone suffering from muscle stiffness and cramps caused by overwork, whether in the office or outdoors. It is also recommended for athletes after training, as it helps the muscles and joints to recover. Last but not least, this is a natural product that contains no harmful chemicals or preservatives.
Directions for use: Apply a small amount of the lye massage oil over the whole body or only to the affected area and massage it into the skin. Leave it to work for anything from 30 minutes to several hours, then rinse off thoroughly with water. The oil is absorbed into the skin, leaving only the salt behind. Overdosing is not possible, as the skin takes up only as much as it needs. For a better effect, after applying the oil wrap the area in plastic or cling film and then in a towel to keep it warm. This enhances the action, as the pores open and the oil is absorbed more effectively. Treat the painful area once or twice a day for one week. It can be used daily to maintain tone and to provide the body with a constant supply of magnesium and other beneficial minerals. If you are using the oil preventatively, you may skip the wrapping in film and a towel. In that case simply leave the oil to dry on the skin – for around 30 to 60 minutes, for example. If you do not have hypersensitive skin, you can leave the oil on for longer (2–3 hours, for instance) and then rinse off with water.

Magnesium deficiency and its consequences
Cramps and muscle tension
Typical symptoms of magnesium deficiency are painful calf cramps, which often occur at night, as well as tension in the neck and shoulder muscles. Tense muscles are a sign of a heightened state of strain in your body and are most often seen with stress and nervous tension. Twitching eyelids and numbness in the fingers are also symptoms of magnesium deficiency.
Magnesium helps you achieve better sporting performance
The recommended daily dose for athletes is around 5 mg of magnesium per kilogram of body weight. The increased magnesium requirements of people who train actively cannot be met through food alone, which is why magnesium supplementation is needed. Taking magnesium regularly during the recovery phase helps athletes maintain the levels of fitness they have achieved.
Did you know … ?
Magnesium, the lack of which causes muscle cramps and fatigue, is absorbed best by the body through the skin. That is why massage oil with Black Sea lye works so quickly – after just 1-2 treatments.
