Directions for use:
Apply a small amount of the lye massage gel to the whole body or only to the affected area and rub it into the skin with a massage. Leave it to work for anything from 30 minutes to several hours, then rinse off thoroughly with water. The gel is absorbed into the skin, leaving only the salt behind. Overdosing is impossible, as the skin takes up only as much as it needs. For a better effect, after applying the gel wrap the area in plastic or cling film and then in a towel to keep it warm. This enhances the action, as the pores open and the gel is absorbed better. Treat the painful area once or twice a day for one week.

It can be used daily to maintain tone and to continuously supply the body with magnesium and other beneficial minerals. If you are using the gel preventively, you can skip wrapping with film and a towel. In this case, simply leave the gel to dry on the skin – for around 30 to 60 minutes, for example. If you do not have hypersensitive skin, you can leave the gel on for longer (for instance 2–3 hours), then rinse off with water.
