The essence of Black Sea liman mud and lye:
Black Sea therapeutic liman mud contains all the components, minerals and microflora of Black Sea lye. The mud is filtered and purified of impurities so that you can enjoy its proven benefits for the body and skin in the safest possible way. Pomorie mud was rediscovered by Dr Petar Stoyanov in 1905. Over several years he studied its healing properties. A mud therapy centre was subsequently built and the town of Pomorie established itself as a national seaside mud therapy resort.
Black Sea (Pomorie) lye is a natural product obtained during salt production at the Burgas and Pomorie salt lakes. After the water has evaporated from the salt pans and the salt has crystallised, the lye remains on the surface of the salt layer as a thick, cloudy, oil-like liquid of yellow-brown colour with a reddish tint.
The unique healing properties of lye are due to its rich mineral and organic composition; in terms of biologically active substances it is considerably superior to sea water. Its composition is close to that of the mud solution, which is why its action resembles that of the therapeutic mud extracted from these lakes.
INGREDIENTS/INCI: GLYCERIN, STEARIC ACID, SORBITOL, SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE, AQUA, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, PEG-40 HYDROGENATED CASTROL OIL, MYRISTIC ACID, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, PARFUM, CURATIVE MUD-BLACK SEA LIMESTONE MUD-BLACK LAYER, LINALOOL, BENZYL SALICYLATE, COUMARIN
